I am delighted to be able to tell you about the work of Thames Hospicecare.
As founder in 1984 of the national charity Help the Hospices, I have been fortunate to have visited a very large number of the UK's charitable Hospices.
I cannot speak too highly of the quality of care carried out by their skilled and dedicated professional staff, by the devoted support of their local communities and volunteers, and by their determination always to progress further.
The initiative taken to combine the strengths of the Ascot & Windsor Hospices will ensure their palliative care services will be delivered to yet higher standards, and confirm Thames Hospicecare as a leader in this increasingly important field.

The Best Possible CareThames Hospicecare is a palliative care service that provides specialist care for patients with terminal or life-limiting illness. Based at two sites in Windsor and Ascot, it delivers a fully comprehensive range of palliative care services to those who live in East Berkshire, South Buckinghamshire and parts of Middlesex, Surrey and Oxfordshire. This care also provides for the patients’ families and carers.
