Volunteers have played an important role in Thames Hospicecare for over 20 years. Their generous gift of time and skills has helped THc to provide the services for which it is valued and respected in the community.

| Julie Howard is on of many volunteers who help in Ascot, working with patients as they explore their creative side, helping with lunches, talking, listening and sometimes just being a friendly and welcoming face to patients and visitors. | | Housekeeping volunteers like Rose Hayward, help make sure freshly ironed sheets are available for patients, flowers are displayed, bringing brightness and colour to the Hospice  and a myriad of other vital jobs are performed efficiently and effectively. | |
