About the THc Sunrise Walk
The THc Sunrise Walk isn't a race and is for walkers not runners. A stunning walk of 10 miles, through Eton and Windsor town and onto the stunning Long Walk into Windsor Great Park as dawn breaks.
At 5.30am on Sunday 5th September 2010 over £1000 women will set off from Eton Athletics Centre, Eton to walk through Eton and Windsor town onto the Long Walk into Windsor Great Park at sun rise to raise funds to help care for local people with a life limiting illness.
The Sunrise Walk isn't a race and is for walkers not runners. The distance is 10 miles. To help you prepare for the day we have some training tips to ensure you're in the best possible shape for the walk.
The walk is for women only, of any age or ability (please obtain your doctor's approval if you are in doubt about your health or have a medical condition), but do ask that if you are aged between 13 and 17 years you are accompanied by an adult. If walking isn't for you there are lots of other ways you can support the THc Sunrise Walk!
