About the THc Sunrise Walk
The THc Sunrise Walk isn't a race and is for those who enjoy walking, not running. An exciting walk of 10 miles, through the stunning Eton and Windsor town, will then lead onto the beautiful scenes along Windsor Great Park just as dawn breaks.
At 5.30am on Sunday 5th September 2010, approximately 1000 women will set off from Thames Valley Athletics Centre, Eton to walk through the Eton and Windsor town onto the long walk into Windsor Great Park at sunrise to raise funds to help care for local people with a life limiting illness.
The Sunrise Walk isn't a race and is for walkers not runners. The distance this year is 10 miles. To help you prepare for the day we have some training tips to ensure you're in the best possible shape for the walk.
The walk is for women only, of any age or ability (please obtain your doctor's approval if you are in doubt about your health or have a medical condition), and we ask that anyone aged between 13 and 17 years old be accompanied by an adult.
