Donate Goods

You can donate unwanted items to THc

Why?

Thames Hospicecare is always pleased to receive donated goods from the public. We are able to make use of most things from furniture to bric a brac and everything in between. Selling donated items through the 15 shops helps raise valuable funds for the Hospice sites at Windsor and Ascot.

What?

It is best if items are in good saleable condition when they are donated, for instance clothes should not be ripped damaged or stained in order for us to be able to sell them to the public, bric a brac should not be chipped, broken or dirty and books should be in good condition. If possible it helps the staff and volunteers who are sorting the goods if they are packed seperately when given to the shop.

We are able to make use of most things, for example textiles that cannot be sold are sent to a recycling company who pay us, based on the tonnage of goods returned. We also get money back for recycling books, shoes, china, mobile phones and many other items.

Unfortunately we are unable to accept large electrical items and white goods, televisions or computers.
