Martin's experience of Charity best practice and his 20 year senior leadership experience offers a unique insight for the Hospice. Now in the 32nd year of his career, Martin is Chief Operating Officer for a group of companies delivering fundraising services to the Charity sector. Prior to that he led a number of European technology companies (including leading Charity technology partner "Blackbaud Europe” for 5 years. He has lived in England, France, Germany and South Africa and has worked in most major European territories. He holds an Honours Degree from the University of Lancaster, has 2 daughters, a healthy interest in skiing, and an unhealthy compulsion towards Sudoku! |
 | Dr Robert Furness- Vice Chair Dr Robert Furness has been a GP for 34 years and originally a Trustee at Paul Bevan. He sits on the Governance and Nominations Committees. As a doctor he is very enthusiastic at THc's Community Services Project. He sees it as the way forward for the Hospice and has no doubt it will enhance patient care. |

 | Richard Marton Richard Marton is now fully retired, having previously been Chief Executive of Britax International Plc and a non-executive director of Partco Plc and D.S.Smith Plc. Also the last Chairman of the Paul Bevan Foundation prior to its merger with Thames Valley Hospice to become Thames Hospicecare. |
 | Clive Challis Clive Challis is a retired accountant who worked at senior management levels in a number of industries during his career. In addition, Clive for many years previous to joining THc's board, has been involved in the charity world both as a trustee and treasurer, and brings to the organisation both general financial skills, as well as specific charity accounting skills. Clive serves on the Audit & Investment Committee. Clive is the Chairman of the Audit and Investment Committee. |
 | Brian Bence Brian is retired after 40 years in the computer industry. His business and investment management experience is valuable in his role on the Audit and Investment Committee. |
 | Maureen Biss Maureen is a HR professional with over 20 years experience within the not for profit sector. Maureen currently works at the RNIB as Head of HR. She has worked with a range of disciplines including fundraising and volunteer management and has extensive experience in reorganisation to meet changing business needs. Maureen's charity and HR experience are a valuable asset in her role as Trustee on the Retail Committee. |
 | Bob Dwyer Bob is a retired HR Director and has been a Volunteer Driver for Thames Hospicecare since 2005. He is also a Trustee of the Royal Wanstead Children's Foundation, a member of the Council of the University of Reading and a member of the Fitness and Practise Panel of the General Medical Council. Bob's HR experience and his more recent not for profit and trustee roles bring a wide range of experiences to the Trustee Board. He is the Chairman of the Governance Committee. |
 | Jonathan Jones Jonathan has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Heatherwood & Wexham Park FT for over 20 years. He is now working part time, and continues as an Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He was Medical Director of the Trust for more than 4 years, during which time he developed a wide knowledge of the Local Health Community, together with specific experience in Infection Control and Patient Safety. |
 | Richard Goss Richard retired from John Lewis in 2008 where he had the responsibility for buying a wide range of merchandise. Previously he worked for Marks and Spencer. Richard works one morning a week as a Volunteer in the In-Patient Unit. He is the Chairman of the Retail Committee and uses his commercial background to assist the Hospice in gaining the maximum benefit from its retail activities. |
 | Gareth Kaminski Cook Gareth is a Senior Executive with the Danaher Corporation and looks forward to bringing over 10 years of senior leadership experience in global business development roles to the benefit of the Hospice. Excited by travel, Gareth with his wife and two children have lived in Thailand and France, but now reside very happily here in Windsor. He studied Civil Engineering at the University of Birmingham and was formely an officer in the Corps of Royal Engineers. |
 | Wendelien McNicoll Wendelien who is Dutch, has been attached to the Hospice since 2002 in voluntary roles in the Day Support Unit and In Patient Unit. She was a member of the Patient & Families Services Team. She is a Person-Centred/Integrative Counsellor MBACP (Accred) and holds a diploma in Supervision. She specialises in Bereavement & Loss Counselling. She joined the Board of Trustees in 2008.
